Here’s My Take with Kenneth Mitchell “Victory, Faith, Boldness, Health, and Destiny”

October 14, 2019

I am taking this reading today from a good friend of mine, Larry Tomczak. I do a weekly podcast with Larry called Here's The Deal with Larry Tomczak and I was so encouraged by this article today that I had to share it with you and hoping it would encourage you in whatever it is that yu might be going through today.

This is a collage of scriptures that are placed together to remind of us of what God has to say about Victory, Faith, Boldness, Health, and Destiny.

So knowing that there are people that I can reach that he cannot, I wanted to share a part of a message that he brings to people to encourage them in their walk and this is my hope as well today.

Please share with others and encourage them.

Blessings and Favor to all of you.

Here’s My Take by Kenneth Mitchell

Here’s My Take by Kenneth Mitchell

March 27, 2019

Here's My Take--Love To Hear Your Thoughts!

Are we truly doing all we can?

Will Jesus Say "Well done, good and faithful servant"?

Them: Children and women left in war torn areas with no food, medical care, water, clothes, threatened to be killed every day..Hardly any educational system. This is some of their STUFF!

Us: Depression, anxiety, need another conference on prayer, another devotional series, can't make it to eat at our favorite restaurant this week, have to buy the best shoes for our children, wife needs a new car (I need a new car) they are both over 2 years old (can't be seen like this!) and so on and so on..This is our STUFF!

We can and should be doing more and should be sacrificing more than we are in light of eternity and what really matters.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21

On The Edge Interview with Rabbi Jonathan Bernis author of “A Lasting Peace”

On The Edge Interview with Rabbi Jonathan Bernis author of “A Lasting Peace”

March 8, 2019

A Lasting Peace is an up-to-date look at Israel and the conflict in the Middle East. Rabbi Jonathan Bernis sorts out the complexities to offer a clear understanding of the history and players involved in the unrest surrounding Israel today. From ancient history to current events, A Lasting Peace traces the participation of surrounding nations and terror groups in the ongoing strife between Arabs and Israel. Bernis uncovers the truth about the Palestinian refugee problem and explains the biases behind Israel’s struggle with United Nations. You’ll also learn about the Arab war against Christians and the impact of U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The Middle East is a hotbed of hostility with Israel in the crosshairs. With a growing but uninformed animosity toward Israel spreading throughout the world, grasping the full picture of the Middle East conflict is more important than ever.

On The Edge Interview with Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League “Killing the Innocent Newborns”

February 28, 2019

Great interview with Pro-Life Action League Executive Director Eric Scheidler, as we discuss the

The debate over whether or not abortion should be a legal option continues to divide Americans long after the US Supreme Court’s 7-2 decision on Roe v. Wade declared the procedure a "fundamental right" on Jan. 22, 1973.

But,  Just a few days ago America watched in dismay as

the Senate failed to pass key pro-life legislation that would have guaranteed medical care to babies who survive attempted abortions. The legislation would have effectively criminalized infanticide nationwide, required abortionists to provide lifesaving care, and ensure the surviving babies get admitted to a hospital.

Although the bill would have passed on a simple majority vote, a large pro-abortion minority in the Senate killed the bill. 44 Democrat Senators  voted against cloture on the motion to proceed for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 130), effectively killing the lifesaving bill.

Today we are going to be speaking with Eric Scheidler who is the exec. Director of the Pro-Life Action League founded in 1980 By Joseph Scheidler, Eric's father. And now Eric carries this powerful mantle of helping to save the lives of thousands of unborn children in America today.

Eric, welcome to the program and thanks for being with us today.

One of the main Arguments here, is what is called the viability (able to survive outside the womb)..BUT, does that mean with the help of medical care like so many thousands born with complications of lung issues, heart and brain issues or viable enough to survive outside the womb with no assistance, whatsoever and could that be the accelerated agenda soon?

One of the most powerful actions pro-lifers can take is showing the victims of abortion in the public square. Watch the two-minute video below on the Pro-Life Action League’s “Face the Truth” campaign which we have held every summer since the year 2000:

Kenneth Mitchell Ministries “Seek First the Kingdom of God”

Kenneth Mitchell Ministries “Seek First the Kingdom of God”

February 14, 2019

What are yours? How do you identify them and are they important to you?

Scripture is full of priorities, those things we must place first in our lives if we want to live a blessed and overcoming life, right?

Lets take Matthew 6:33   "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.."  Priority?

So, are these important to you?

We talk about procrastination, "I cant right now, because of… I just can’t make the time for because of…"  And on and on we go..

By definition a priority is described as ‘Something that is more important than another”

So, as we lay out our priorities we need to watch carefully how we categorize our schedules, our to do list and yes even our wishes and dreams.

Because if it is a priority that means it is of most importance in your life..

For where your treasure is there is where your heart be also.

Where is your treasure..Family, work, relationships, God and His priorities..?

Informed Radio’s Interview with Dallas Jenkins re: “The Chosen: 40 Day Devotional”

January 10, 2019

A wonderful interview with Dallas Jenkins, that I know you are truly going to enjoy and know you will want to share with others once you hear about this powerful devotional and upcoming TV Series.. Going

Become apart of this amazing effort and pre-order your copy today @ www.thechosen.tv

Dallas Jenkins says, "I've got some really cool news for you. My original idea in making The Chosen was simply to create a short film about the birth of Christ in a fresh way. As I shared it with friends, ministry leaders, and entertainment professionals, I kept getting the same response: "I want more."

As a result, we've decided to make an entire TV show about the life of Christ through the eyes of those who encountered him called The Chosen. And when I say "we," I mean we literally, because you can be a part of this unprecedented project.

Encounter Jesus the way his followers did.

Every follower of Jesus in the Gospels had a not-so-great ''before'' A brash fisherman. A pious religious leader. A demon-possessed woman. A thieving tax collector. Christ's love saw beyond their brokenness and forgave. Jesus revolutionized the lives of those who followed Him.

And He's still doing it today.

Each of the forty devotions in The Chosen contains a Scripture, a unique look into a Gospel story, suggestions for prayer, and questions that lead you further in your relationship with Christ. See Jesus through the eyes of those who knew him best, and explore the backstories of people like Mary Magdalene, Peter, Matthew, Nicodemus, and more.

It's hard to relate to the sinless Son of God, but we can all identify with the sinners. You too can be transformed: Jesus sees past your ''before'' to the person He is creating you to be."

Informed Radio’s Interview with Shannon Forsythe of Run 2 Rescue

Informed Radio’s Interview with Shannon Forsythe of Run 2 Rescue

December 18, 2018

I speak with Shannon Forsythe, President/Co-Founder of Run 2 Rescue.

When the people cry to the LORD for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a Savior who will rescue them. Isaiah 19:20

Run 2 Rescue is a Christian organization that will reach, rescue and restore victims of Human Trafficking. To Reach in the darkness and identify the victim and pull them out of bondage, to Rescue the victim and put them in a safe living environment, and to Restore them to a full and abundant life. Once a victim is rescued with our organization, they are with family. This will not be a group home, this will be their home.

Reach: Run 2 Rescue works with the church as well as local, state and federal agencies to help identify victims of Human Trafficking. We will actively work to change laws to make it harder for the pimp/trafficker to sell another human being in the commercial sex industry. We will also work to change the laws to make it a felony for any person/john who purchases another human being.

Rescue: Once a victim is identified we will do everything we can to protect them and provide a safe place for them recover and heal. Our home will be called the "Gateway of Hope". We welcome girls who have been trafficked as young as 11 years old and up to 27 years old. We are not designed to be a group home as we seek to place these victims with vetted families. We seek to be a place where these kids can feel safe and eventually be healed from the ravages of trafficking. It will be a place where beauty dwells. We dream it will be a place where girls can work with horses and animals, plant their own gardens and have things they can call their own. It will be a time where healing can begin and where they can learn how the Lord speaks tenderly to them. Hosea 2:14

Restore: The statistics are too low for most girls long-term success. Through much prayer and God’s vision, we realize this must be a lifelong process. We must be a place where they can come back for the holidays. When they turn 18, we will have a mentor program in place for them. We will have 4 mentors to one girl. Each mentor will be there in different areas to help transition them to be able to face life ahead and see their dreams come true. Our mentors will help them go to school, pick classes, apply for jobs, establish bank accounts and put budgets together helping where parents would normally help. We want to give our kids as many tools where they have every chance of succeeding.

Here’s The Deal with Larry Tomczak “8 Life Lessons to Make 2019 Your Best Year Yet”

Here’s The Deal with Larry Tomczak “8 Life Lessons to Make 2019 Your Best Year Yet”

December 10, 2018

8 Life Lessons to Make 2019 Your Best Year Yet

As a young boy in Cleveland, I spent many Saturdays watching wrestling on TV. Bobo Brazil with his thundering drop kicks was my favorite character, and you bet I believed everything I watched was real.

Commercials in between rounds often highlighted used cars for $300, and since we grew up without a car, I could never understand why we couldn't just go buy one. Truth was, my dad worked as a custodian, and my disabled mother scrubbed floors on her knees three days a week, so they felt we just couldn't afford it. It was a hard pill to swallow, but it developed in me a sense of gratitude for what we did have plus a sensitivity towards the less fortunate that influences me greatly to this day.

In 1843 in England, a young man encountered small children digging garbage out of trash cans in the dead of the night scavenging for food. With images seared onto the sensitive photographic plate of his mind, he plunged into a project to communicate creatively the urgency of awakening others to their plight.

He crafted a story highlighting a miserly character that he named Ebeneezer Scrooge who would eventually be transformed. His miraculous metamorphosis would impact not only the English people but eventually the entire world. It became a script, debuting in theaters on Christmas Day, and A Christmas Carol continues to influence countless millions to this very day.

What set of circumstances is God currently and providentially using in your life to mold you into the person He destined you to become? As Daniel, Joseph, Moses, David and Job weren't aware of all God was doing in their time, will you trust Him?

Lessons I've Learned

I'm one year shy of my 50th spiritual birthday. I'm almost there, so let me share some significant life lessons I hope will help you.

What an honor to speak with and interview Dr. Robert Jeffress, the Pastor of 1st Baptist Dallas, Texas and discuss his latest book "Choosing the Extraordinary Life" being distributed through all major booksellers, throughout the world Find it Here

The average adult works 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year, for at least 30 years of his or her life. Outside of the hours spent working and taking care of children, mowing the lawn, grocery shopping and numerous other menial but necessary tasks consume the remaining time. But what if there was more to life than the humdrum rhythms of ordinary days?

Best-selling author and pastor Dr. Robert Jeffress wants readers to know that there is more—an extraordinary life is not only possible, but it’s ready and waiting. In his upcoming book, Choosing the Extraordinary Life: God’s 7 Secrets for Success and Significance (Baker Books, September 4, 2018), Jeffress shows readers God’s roadmap to living an extraordinary life full of purpose and meaning.

“The secret to an extraordinary life is understanding God’s purpose for our lives and then living it, “ writes Jeffress. “When we pursue God’s purpose, He will transform our ordinary existence into an extraordinary life. Nothing could be more significant than that.”

Informed Radio’s Interview with Pastor Rick Scarborough of Vision America

Informed Radio’s Interview with Pastor Rick Scarborough of Vision America

October 31, 2018

A very insightful interview with Pastor Rick Scarborough about Vision America, the Mid-Term Elections and the importance of the Christian Voter.

Vision America is organized exclusively for religious, religious charitable, and religious educational purposes, including but not limited to (a) educating churches and Christians regarding Biblical teachings concerning our duties to understand and fulfill our God-given responsibilities as citizens, (b) mobilizing Christians and churches to fulfill those responsibilities in order to strengthen society and governmental structures, (c) facilitating churches in the spread of the Gospel in ways that strengthens our society and our governmental structures, and (d) making distributions to or for the use of exempt organizations.

At its core, Vision America is a movement of mobilized churches aimed at sparking a national revival so that our nation turns in prayerful submission to the Lordship of Christ. Our stated mission is to organize, engage, mobilize, and empower churches, their pastors, and their congregations, collectively and individually, to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every area of life, with an emphasis on fulfilling their civic responsibilities and impacting the broader culture for Christ.

What We Do

We engage, equip, and empower pastors and people of faith to influence the culture through active civic involvement for spiritual awakening.

How We Do It

We offer free educational resources to pastors and people of faith to empower and mobilize them to action. We use the latest technology and detailed public data to analyze where to focus our resources to make the greatest impact at the most politically opportune times. We target our efforts to areas in which voter turnout or citizen engagement has been historically poor so that we can bring measurable change in outcomes and/or issues that concern our nation.

As Unemployment Reaches 90 Percent in Zimbabwe, The Tide® Radio Ministry Provides Hope Through Good News of Jesus Christ
Gospel Radio Programs Recorded in Zimbabweans’ Own Language
HARRISBURG, Pa.—The Zimbabwean reported from Johannesburg last week that according to Zimbabwe’s largest workers’ union, the country’s unemployment rate is now at 90 percent.
In a nation with such severe economic difficulties, The Tide® (www.thetide.org)global radio ministry is working to give hope to Zimbabwe’s people through the truth of the Gospel and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Another challenge is that Zimbabwe’s aging president, Robert Mugabe, doesn’t acknowledge his peoples’ hardships, stating last week that the country isn’t fragile despite its plunging economy. Mugabe made the comments at the Africa leg of the World Economic Forum, The Washington Post reported.
The Tide ministry has been providing radio programs to remote villages around the globe to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 70 years, including in Zimbabwe since 1983. The ministry also assists in the building of radio studios, provides leader-to-leader training and ensures that villagers have Bibles.
“The people The Tide ministry reaches in Zimbabwe have many needs, and we pray for them fervently, asking God to not only better their lives here on Earth, but to also open their hearts to the Gospel so that they can spend eternity with Christ,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk, who was born in what was onceRhodesia, and served as a missionary teaching and leading the Ekuphileni Bible Institute in Zimbabwe, where he lived for 28 years. “Some of their specific prayer requests include: ‘May you pray for me to get a job?’ and ‘I am facing some hardships in my life and am not married.’ We are blessed to be able to reach these people with Gospel radio programming recorded in their own language—Ndebele—so they can hear about the love of the Savior from a pastor or teacher from their own community.”
Currently, The Tide ministry works to reach people in seven countries on three continents through 24 heart languages, and even though Zimbabwe has been fairly extensively evangelized, there are still many who need to hear the Gospel message. In fact, nearly a quarter of the world’s population lives within the current range of The Tide radio programming. With nearly 7,000 languages spoken in the world today, the opportunities are tremendous.
Later this year, The Tide ministry will offer programming in its 25th heart language—Isaan, spoken by 19 million people in Thailand. That initiative will allow Thailand to join multiple regions of Zimbabwe, India, Nigeria, Nepal, Bhutan, Albania and Kosovo, where The Tide ministry is already active in broadcasting Gospel radio programming.
